All appointments at the Coolaroo Licence Testing Centre — including the practical drive test — are by appointment only. Here's the official process.
You must have both of these completed before you can book a practical drive test appointment.
Book via the VicRoads website (vicroads.vic.gov.au), by calling 13 11 71, or in person at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre.
Bring your learner permit and required identification, and arrive in a roadworthy, currently registered and insured vehicle. If you're late, you'll need to rebook and pay the appointment fee again.
You'll find out whether you've passed straight after your test. If successful, your licence details are updated immediately and your card arrives by mail.
These are the current official fees published directly on vicroads.vic.gov.au. Fees are set statewide by VicRoads and apply the same at every testing centre, including Coolaroo.

Your first attempt at the Learner Permit Knowledge Test and Hazard Perception Test online is free. If you rebook an appointment, you'll need to pay the $22.10 appointment fee again — you won't need to pay the test fee again unless you cancel. Fees are set by VicRoads and may change — check vicroads.vic.gov.au for the most current figures before booking.

These are Victoria's standard graduated licensing requirements, set by VicRoads and applying statewide.
You must be at least 18 years old to sit the practical drive test in Victoria.
You must have held your learner permit for at least 12 months before booking your drive test.
If you're under 25, you must complete and log 120 hours of supervised driving, including at least 10 hours of night driving, in your official logbook.
If you're 25 or older, there's no mandatory logged-hours requirement, though VicRoads still recommends extensive practice before attempting the test.
